The Pub – A Touch of Great Britain in Nashville
As of today, Monday, September 23, 2013, you can start pouring your own draught beers at The Pub in the Gulch. That’s right, you never have to see the bottom of your pint glass again, thanks to the famous Pour Your Own Beer Wall.
While the Pour Your Own Beer Wall is refreshing and worth highlighting, it’s not the only impressive feature of The Pub. From the authentic U.K. furniture and fixtures to the plaid kilts to the thoughtful craftsmanship inside and out, The Pub creates a classy, English-inspired atmosphere unlike any other spot in Nashville.
The Pub offers a variety of English comfort foods, like fish and chips and shepherd’s pie, plus classic “shareable” items like cheese “bollocks” (a take on mozzarella cheese sticks) and fried pickles. If you’re a draught beer fan, you’ll be happy with the selection. And if you just can’t stand the taste of beer, there are plenty of mixed drinks, too. Stop by The Pub’s happy hour between 3pm and 7pm, Monday through Friday.
Whether you want to sit at a table, a booth, the bar, or the patio, there’s a seat for everyone. You can also reserve a special section of the restaurant with your own Beer Wall, where you can request the beers you’d like on tap.
If you’re looking to escape to Great Britain for a couple hours without a costly plane ticket, this is your place.
