A Look Inside: Tenn Sixteen in East Nashville

The owners of 3 Crow Bar and Red Door Saloon bring us Tenn Sixteen, the newest bar and restaurant to grace the Five Points area of East Nashville. Tenn Sixteen (or Tenn 16) officially opened for business on Friday, June 21, 2013, next door to Five Points Pizza. The name is derived from its address — 1016 Woodland St.

The vibe inside is clean and contemporary with a touch of New Orleans flavor. You quickly notice the Mardi Gras bead chandeliers hanging from the rustic wooden ceilings and the vibrant Cajun artwork scattered on the multi-colored walls.

The circular bar sits in the center of the room, with plenty of chairs and walking space. It’s a great spot to sit back and watch one of the eight widescreen TVs that hang above. If the bar isn’t your thing, you can always grab a table or booth.

One great aspect of Tenn Sixteen — they offer a variety of beer options, including more than 15 draft beers and 90 more in bottles. Green Flash West Coast IPA, anyone?

All ages are welcome until 4:30pm, then it’s 21 and over only. Tenn Sixteen is smoke free at all times.
