Riverside Revival, the brainchild of George Boedecker Jr., is an event space and music venue located on the campus of the East Nashville Community Collaborative. Events hosted at Riverside Revival help sponsor non-profit events, operations, and training through the Boedecker Foundation. The space was previously a church, and has been revived as a state-of-the-art venue for concerts, weddings, corporate functions, and other private events. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.
The Interior
Riverside Revival’s interior features a beautiful blank canvas for a wide-variety of social gatherings. The space has a mid-century aesthetic with modern updates, including top-of-the-line audio and video capabilities, a built-in stage, lighting, and a projector. Other highlights include the church’s original stained-glass windows, hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, an upper balcony with stadium seating, and a catering kitchen on the lower level. Whether you’re hosting a wedding with 120 seated guests or a private concert for 360 standing fans, Riverside Revival can accommodate.
The Exterior
The clean, white exterior of Riverside Revival is contrasted by one exterior wall that has a captivating mural called “Growth” created by Danielle Duer. The mural has elegant leaves with over 19 shades of green. There’s also an expansive on-site parking lot for guests as well as nearby street parking.
