Ruby Sunshine, an all-day breakfast and brunch destination, officially opened Thursday, June 18, 2020, in Hillsboro Village. Nashville is the seventh Ruby Sunshine outpost, which has other locations in Franklin, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Gatlinburg, Birmingham, and Charlotte. Ruby Sunshine is a sister chain to the acclaimed Ruby Slipper Café, and is the latest restaurant concept from the New Orleans’ based hospitality company Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group. Nashville Guru stopped by to get the look inside.

The Interior

The new 5,300-square-foot restaurant features New Orleans-inspired decor, floor-to-ceiling windows, and spacious seating options. All drinks can be ordered at the bar.

The Exterior

The exterior patio is perfect for sipping a breakfast cocktail like the Boozy Iced Coffee or Morning Margarita. Free two-hour parking is available behind the restaurant and on select side streets within Hillsboro Village.

The Menu

Ruby Sunshine’s menu offers breakfast and brunch classics with a New Orleans-inspired twist. If you’re looking to spice up your usual morning meal, try the bayou shrimp eggs Benedict and hot sausage buttermilk biscuit sliders. To satisfy your sweet tooth, try brioche-based French toast bites—fried and tossed in cinnamon sugar!

The beverage menu includes traditional morning drinks and cocktails. Their award-winning Bloody Mary features spicy house-made mix paired with bacon-infused vodka. See the full menu.
