Is Nashville open?

Yes, Nashville is open and basically back to normal!

Masks are no longer mandated. The mask mandate was lifted on May 14, 2021, which had been in effect since June 29, 2020.

Capacity restrictions have been lifted. 

Individual businesses may set their own restrictions for capacity and mask usage. Some businesses still require their staff to wear masks. Please contact the individual businesses for their latest restrictions and hours. 

The majority of bars and restaurants are now open normal hours for dine-in and take-out service. This page will no longer be updated with restaurants’ statuses or hours.

To see the latest statistics, see the Mayor’s daily metro COVID-19 press updates and the Davidson County COVID-19 Dashboard. Nashville’s Safer at Home Order started on March 15, 2020. The mask mandate went in effect on June 29, 2020, and ended on May 14, 2021.
