Nashville has a new craft beer tavern. City Tap House, an American pub out of Philadelphia, officially opened on Monday, December 18, 2017, at the corner of 3rd Avenue South and Demonbreun Street in the SoBro neighborhood. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.

The Interior

City Tap occupies 8,500 square feet on the bottom level of The SoBro, a 32-story luxury apartment tower. The restaurant and bar features 60 draught beers, a 15-foot LCD video wall, a rooftop deck, and private dining space. There’s also a large, elevated bar area with two-top tables, bar stools, and community tables.

The Menu

Ashley Grim spearheads the menu, which focuses on elevated pub classics. Menu options range from ribeye steak frites to Maryland-style crab cakes to Korean short rib tacos. City Tap will also offer weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday in early 2018.

While the beverage menu boasts extensive beer offerings, guests can also expect a full range of cocktail options and wines on tap.
