Are you ready for green beer and a lot of fun? St. Patrick’s Day (or St. Paddy’s/St. Patty’s) is almost here! St. Patrick’s Day is officially on Friday, March 17, 2017, but expect celebrations all weekend long. If you’re on vacation for spring break in Nashville, these events should be on your list, too. Consider this your go-to resource for all things St. Patrick’s Day in Nashville. We’ll be adding events and parties as they are announced.

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Events & Parties
Lucky Stache Bash 5
The 5th annual Lucky Stache Bash is Friday, March 17, 2017 from Noon to 2:30am at Tin Roof on Demonbreun. This party was previously held at The Greenhouse Bar for the last four years, but they outgrew it, making the move to Tin Roof’s 60,000-square-foot space in 2017. Attendees can expect three stages of live music and DJs, giveaways, party favors, a photo booth, drink specials, food trucks, multiple TVs and a 20-foot outdoor projection screen showing the basketball games that day.
The 2017 music line-up will be announced soon but past performers have included the Ying Yang Twins, Mr. Collipark, Juvenile, and Nappy Roots.

McNamara’s Irish Pub Party
McNamara’s Irish Pub keeps the Irish tradition alive year-round with authentic Irish food, over 25 Irish whiskeys, and live Irish music several nights a week. You can get your Irish fill year-round, but St. Patrick’s Day is certainly a good day to visit. Traditional Irish music begins at 10am and continues through the night.

Shamrocks & Shenanigans
The Shamrocks and Shenanigans St. Patrick’s Day party is Friday, March 17, 2017, from 11am to 2am at The Greenhouse Bar. There will be music, basketball games on TV, food trucks, green beer, and lawn games. DJ Aydamn will be keeping the party going. Don’t forget to wear green!

St. Patrick’s Day at TailGate Brewery Music Row
TailGate Brewery on Demonbreun is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day party on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 1pm to 2am. VIP pre-sale tickets include entry (no cover at the door), a t-shirt, and two TailGate beer pint tickets.

ST. Pat’s Bar Crawl
Join My Drink On for their annual St. Pat’s Bar Crawl in Downtown Nashville on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5pm to 11pm and Saturday, March 18, 2017 from noon to 6:00pm. Participating locations will be announced soon.
Tickets: $20-$30 in advance
The annual St. Paddy Clover Crawl by Music City Pub Crawl is Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4pm to 7pm. The pub crawl will stop at six bars along 2nd Avenue. The $15 cover gets you access to drink specials, souvenir koozies, games, contests, and prizes. Wear green!
Though this isn’t a St. Patrick’s Day event, it’s one of the hottest happenings over St. Paddy’s weekend. Nuit Belge is a Belgian beer and local fare tasting event, taking place on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Marathon Music Works. Nuit Belge’s first annual event in 2015, which sold out to an exclusive group of 500 guests, was named “Best New Beer Event” in the Nashville Scene’s Best of Nashville contest. Expect Belgian beers and small plates from over a dozen of Nashville’s best restaurants. Nuit Belge is a dress-to-impress event, so casual wear like shorts, t-shirts and flip flops are prohibited.
Parties To Be Announced
Last year, Acme hosted a St. Paddy’s Day Dance Party from 9pm to 1am. Check back for 2017 details.
The Sutler’s St. Patrick’s Day Party last year featured live music in the saloon, $3 green beers, $8 Irish car bombs, $5 Jameson shots, and giveaways. A 90’s night commenced at 9:00pm in the cellar. Stay tuned for this year’s details.
Last year, M.L. Rose (Franklin Pike location) hosted a St. Patrick’s Day celebration featuring live music, $3 green Hap & Harry beers, $8 Irish car bombs, $5 Jameson shots, and giveaways. Check back here for this year’s party details.
The Pub in the Gulch hosted a St. Paddy’s Day party all day last year with kegs and eggs. There was live music all day from Def Leprechaun and The 17th Lancers Bagpipe Band along with green beer and drink specials. 2017’s information is coming soon.

Music City Irish Fest
Music City Irish Fest is a St. Patrick’s Day celebration taking place throughout the month at various locations. Music City Irish Fest’s primary goal is to bring awareness to traditional Irish music, arts, history and culture. Events occur almost daily, ranging from concerts to plays to whiskey tastings.

The Nashville Celts at City Winery Nashville
The Nashville Celts are performing at City Winery Nashville on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 8pm to 9:30pm. The Nashville Celts meld modern American hit songs with Irish and Scottish roots music and instruments. Expect world-class musicians singing and playing instruments like guitars, bodhran, piano, fiddle, Uilleann pipes, Irish whistles, banjo, mandolin, bass, and drums. Irish step dancers will also be on stage.
