St. Patrick’s Day (or St. Paddy’s/St. Patty’s) is almost here! St. Patrick’s Day is officially on Friday, March 17, 2017, but expect celebrations all weekend long. If you’re on vacation for spring break in Nashville, these events should be on your list, too. Consider this your go-to resource for all things St. Patrick’s Day in Nashville. We’ll be adding events and parties as they are announced.

Lucky Stache Bash 5

Lucky Stache Bash 5 is Friday, March 17, 2017 from Noon to 2:30am at Tin Roof on Demonbreun. Attendees can expect three stages of live music and DJs, giveaways, party favors, a photo booth, 2-for-1 green beer and other drink specials, food trucks, multiple TVs and a 20-foot outdoor projection screen showing the basketball games that day. A mustache competition will also take place at this year’s Stache bash, with over $300 in prizes to the top 3 contestants.

McNamara’s Irish Pub Party

McNamara’s Irish Pub keeps the Irish tradition alive year-round with authentic Irish food, over 25 Irish whiskeys, and live Irish music several nights a week. You can get your Irish fill year-round, but St. Patrick’s Day is certainly a good day to visit. Traditional Irish music begins at 10am and continues through the night.

Acme Feed & Seed is also hosting a St. Patrick’s Day shindig on Friday, March 17th. Colm Kirwan will be playing Irish folk songs on the first floor from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. There will also be drink specials on Guinness and Jameson on all floors. A special edition of #BasicFriday on the rooftop will be from 10:00pm to 2:00am.

Loser’s St. Patrick’s Day Extravaganza

Head over to Loser’s Bar and Grill in Midtown for the St. Patrick’s Day Extravaganza. There will be drinks, food, live music, and all things Irish. General admission is free. VIP tickets are $30 in advance and include access to the rooftop deck and VIP patio, exclusive beer tastings, private bars, light appetizers, and private restrooms. Doors open at noon and live music starts at 3pm.

The Pub’s Paddy Party

The Pub in the Gulch is hosting an all-day Pub Paddy Party on Friday, March 17, 2017. The fun kicks off with kegs & eggs at 10am. Def Leprechaun will perform from 3pm to 8pm. There will be plenty of green beer and drink specials, including: $2 Jell-O shots, $5 Irish Sinkers, $5 Jameson shots, $3 Budlight green draughts (while pours last), $4 Bud and Budlight aluminum bottles, and $5 Guinness, Smithwicks, and Harp.

The Shamrocks and Shenanigans St. Patrick’s Day party is Friday, March 17, 2017, from 11am to 2am at The Greenhouse Bar. There will be music, basketball games on TV, food trucks, green beer, and lawn games. DJ Aydamn will be keeping the party going. Don’t forget to wear green!

The annual St. Paddy Clover Crawl by Music City Pub Crawl is Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4pm to 7pm. The pub crawl will stop at six bars along 2nd Avenue. The $15 cover gets you access to drink specials, souvenir koozies, games, contests, and prizes. Wear green!

Nashville St. Patrick’s Day Irish Stroll is hosting two bar crawls in downtown Nashville in honor of Emerald Isle on March 11, 2017 from 2pm to 3am and on March 17, 2017 (St. Paddy’s Day) from 5pm to 3am. Guests will receive exclusive drink specials and free cover at each venue.

Nuit Belge

Though this isn’t a St. Patrick’s Day event, it’s one of the hottest happenings over St. Paddy’s weekend. Nuit Belge is a Belgian beer and local fare tasting event, taking place on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Marathon Music Works. Nuit Belge’s first annual event in 2015, which sold out to an exclusive group of 500 guests, was named “Best New Beer Event” in the Nashville Scene’s Best of Nashville contest. Expect Belgian beers and small plates from over a dozen of Nashville’s best restaurants. Nuit Belge is a dress-to-impress event, so casual wear like shorts, t-shirts and flip flops are prohibited.

Music City Irish Fest is a St. Patrick’s Day celebration taking place throughout the month at various locations. Music City Irish Fest’s primary goal is to bring awareness to traditional Irish music, arts, history and culture. Events occur almost daily, ranging from concerts to plays to whiskey tastings.

The Nashville Celts at City Winery Nashville

The Nashville Celts are performing at City Winery Nashville on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 8pm to 9:30pm. The Nashville Celts meld modern American hit songs with Irish and Scottish roots music and instruments. Expect world-class musicians singing and playing instruments like guitars, bodhran, piano, fiddle, Uilleann pipes, Irish whistles, banjo, mandolin, bass, and drums. Irish step dancers will also be on stage.
