Mardi Gras Celebrations at The Gumbo Bros
Celebrate Mardi Gras at The Gumbo Bros! There will be festivities taking place from Friday through Tuesday, February 9-13, 2024. Stop by to enjoy the New Orleans-style ambiance, decor, food, and drinks. Admission is free and open to all ages.
Music City Mardi Gras
Music City Mardi Gras is Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 10:00am to midnight at BigShotz. This event will be an unforgettable Mardi Gras celebration featuring live music, delicious food, and plenty of beads. Tickets are $15.
Mardi Gras at Assembly Food Hall
Mardi Gras at Assembly Food Hall is Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11:00am. This event will feature live music and New Orleans-themed food and drinks such as King Cake Shaved Ice and Hurricanes. Admission is free.
Kung Fu Saloon’s Mardi Gras Bar Crawl
Kung Fu Saloon’s Mardi Gras Bar Crawl is Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 3:00pm to 10:00pm at multiple bars throughout Nashville. Tickets are $12-$20 and include beads, no cover at participating bars, discounted food, and drinks specials. Registration will take place at Kung Fu Saloon.
Live Oak’s Mardi Gras Bar Crawl
Live Oak’s Mardi Gras Bar Crawl is Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 5:00pm to 11:00pm at multiple bars throughout Nashville. Tickets are $20+ and include no cover at participating bars, drinks specials, and live music. The bar crawl will begin at Live Oak.
Mardi Gras at Teddy’s Tavern
Celebrate Mardi Gras at Teddy’s Tavern on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, starting at 11:00am. Expect king cake, New Orleans-inspired cocktails, beads, and live music. Admission is free.
Mardi Gras Party at Big Machine
The Mardi Gras Party at Big Machine is Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 11:00am to 10:00pm at Big Machine Distillery & Tavern. This event will feature New Orleans-themed food and drink specials. Admission is free.
Mardi Gras at Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar
Mardi Gras at Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar is Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 4:00pm to midnight. This event will feature live music, second lines, a photo booth, beads, food, drinks, and more. Make sure to dress festive! Admission is free.
Fat Tuesday at Rudy’s Jazz Room
Celebrate Fat Tuesday at Rudy’s Jazz Room on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Expect two live performances from The Rougarou Horns Brass Band at 6:00pm and 9:00pm. There is a $20 cover at the door. Admission is 21 and over only.
Mardi Gras at The Villager Tavern
Mardi Gras at The Villager Tavern is Tuesday, February 13, 2024, starting at 7:30pm. This celebration will feature New Orleans-inspired food, live jazz music, beads, and giveaways. Admission is free.
Mardi Gras at Acme
Mardi Gras at Acme is Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 8:00pm to 11:00pm. This event will feature New Orleans-style food, drink specials, and live music. Make sure to put on your best Mardi Gras attire! Admission is free.
East Side Mardi Gras
Come eat, drink, and dance at East Side Mardi Gras on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 8:30pm to 11:00pm at Fran’s East Side. There will be gumbo cooked by JP Harris, live Cajun music by Runner of the Woods, and more. Tickets are $10. Admission is 21 and over only.
Fat Tuesday Celebrations at City Tap Nashville
Enjoy Fat Tuesday Celebrations at City Tap Nashville on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 10:00am to 9:00pm. This event will include mouthwatering food, lively music, and non-stop partying. Admission is free.
Bowties & Bling
The Bowties & Bling event is Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the Grand Hyatt Nashville. This Mardi Gras event will include specialty hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, live entertainment, and more. Tickets are $161.90.
Cajun / Creole Restaurants in Nashville

Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar
Even though Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar is known to be more of a late-night spot, we recommend stopping by during the day. The live music is top-notch and the atmosphere is festive. If you’re looking for a more entertaining Mardi Gras, head to Printer’s Alley in Downtown Nashville and hit up Bourbon Street Blues.

The Gumbo Bros
The Gumbo Bros offers a variety of cajun and creole dishes, including three styles of gumbo, Louisiana alligator nuggets, Cajun waffle fries, and po’ boy sandwiches made with fresh French bread from Leidenheimer Bakery in New Orleans. The beverage menu pays tribute to The Gumbo Bros’ New Orleans heritage, featuring Hurricanes and Tabasco margaritas.

J. Gumbo’s
J. Gumbo’s is a “real down-home New Orleans cookin” restaurant chain located in Downtown Nashville’s Arcade. This casual Cajun joint is a perfect way to celebrate Mardi Gras during your lunch break. Hours are 10:30am to 5:00pm on weekdays.

Spicy Boy’s
Spicy Boy’s is the latest Louisana-inspired restaurant to open in Nashville. Guests can expect delicious cajun cuisine including Boudin—house-made boudin sausage served with Abita beer, mustard, and pickles. Stop by every Tuesday through Sunday for a great meal and refreshing drinks.

the five spot in east Nashville has a great mardi gras show on feb 13 at 6 pm
The Farmers Market in Nashville has pretty good NOLA food at NOOLEYS!!!
If you go North of town to Goodlettsville there is a restaurant called Lagniappe Bayou Kitchen. It has the best Beignets I’ve had in the area.
