Abby Flittner (Co-Founder)

Abby is an ambitious self-starter who thrives on bettering herself, others, and the local community. Abby is the co-founder of Nashville Guru, LLC, and focuses primarily on brand management, marketing and sales.

After graduating with a couple accounting degrees in 2009, Abby worked in the local Nashville banking industry. Though she enjoyed her job and fellow co-workers, Abby was inspired by the success of Gulch Guru, and decided to take a full-time leap into entrepreneurship in May 2011.

Abby has lived in Nashville most of her life, and currently lives in the Gulch. When she isn’t at her computer, you can catch her doing yoga or buying organic fruits and vegetables at the local store. She is also a certified personal trainer and enjoys inspiring others to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Josh Gilmore (Co-Founder)

Josh is a Nashville-native with a passion for art, music, and all things local. Josh is the co-founder of Nashville Guru, LLC, and focuses primarily on graphic design, web development and content management.

Josh has worked as a graphic designer and web developer for the last six years, and launched his design firm, Modern Spark, LLC, in January 2011. Josh worked alongside Abby to create Gulch Guru in August 2010. Motivated by the original website’s success, Josh and Abby decided to extend the concept to additional Nashville areas in May 2011.

When he’s not dabbling in Photoshop or editing HTML, you can catch Josh playing guitar or hanging out in one of the many awesome areas of Nashville.
