Fat Bottom Fridays is a weekly series that will begin on St. Patrick’s Day, Friday, March 17, 2023, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. The first Fat Bottom Friday will feature live music from the Trevor Clark Band, half off drafts, half off cocktails, 2-for-1 Bertha drafts, $5 Bertha bombs, and $30 Bertha cases to go. Guests can also expect food specials including $5 Dublin Nachos, $5 Corned Beef Sliders, and a $14 combo of Shepard’s Pie + a pint! March Madness games will be played on the TVs all day long! Admission is free.

Lokanta at Yolan: Benefiting Disaster Relief Efforts in Turkey will take place on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 4:30pm to 10:00pm. This dinner will honor the Turkish team members at The Joseph and Yolan by benefiting disaster relief efforts in Turkey. Guests can expect a five-course menu inspired by Turkish cuisine. This tasting menu with wines is $250 per person. Proceeds from this dinner will be donated to Ahbap, a Turkish non-profit organization that provides food, shelter, and medical supplies to those in need in Turkey.

Blossom Bar Pop-Up

The Blossom Bar Pop-Up at Dream Nashville will take place this spring starting on Thursday, March 9, 2023, and will continue through late May. This pop-up can be found in the lobby at the Parlour Bar. Guests can expect a floor-to-ceiling flower wall, a lifesize cherry blossom tree, and a photo booth filled with flowers. The menu will feature signature cocktails and bites with inspiration from the international Cherry Blossom Festivals. Admission is free.

Hike-a-Thon

TennGreen Land Conservancy’s fourth annual Hike-a-Thon is taking place during the entire month of April 2024. The month-long fundraising and adventure competition supports the protection of Tennessee’s lands and waters and encourages people of all ages and abilities to get outside. While this event benefits Tennessee nature, participants can adventure and compete from anywhere in the world. Compete by hiking, paddling, trail running, climbing, mountain biking, or photography with a team or by yourself starting April 1, 2024.

Registration is completely free, but participants are encouraged to fundraise to be eligible for the grand prizes.

There are some amazing prizes up for grabs this year! For example, thanks to generous supporters of conservation, whoever wins “Most Miles Hiked” will receive a two-night stay at a Tennessee State Park, an Osprey Daylite Backpack, and a TennGreen hat! Other prizes, donated by outdoor recreation specialists and friends, include a Kayak donated by Jackson Kayak, a year-long monthly coffee subscription thanks to Bongo Java, camping tents, sleeping bags, coolers, trekking poles, and everything else to help you get outside and explore the beauty of Tennessee. Competitions include Most Money Raised, Most Miles Paddled, Best Team Name, Most Overall Adventures, and so many more!

Registration opens March 1, 2024!

Participants may compete in as many competitions as they’d like, and pop-up prizes will be up for grabs throughout the month of April. Participants can also win prizes by completing ten of sixteen Hike-a-Thon “challenges” (e.g., visit a State Natural Area) as part of a Tennessee Treasure Hunt.

Proceeds from the Hike-a-Thon benefit TennGreen Land Conservancy, a 501(c)(3) environmental nonprofit and the oldest accredited statewide land conservancy in Tennessee.
