Mill Creek Brewing Co., a local brewery with a 27,500-square-foot facility and taproom in Nolensville, opened its first Nashville-area taproom on Monday, July 16, 2018. Mill Creek Taproom 12 South took over the space previously occupied by Sloco and The Meet Room, which closed in May. Guests can enjoy a pint of beer or a wide selection of bites, including their popular Smashville Burger. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.

The Interior

The Mill Creek team quickly renovated, knocking down the wall that used to separate Sloco and The Meet Room to provide more natural light and an open floor plan. There’s a bar area with eight stools and numerous group and community tables. The color scheme is mostly black and white, including dark floors with white stars.

The Exterior

Watch the bustling 12 South area from the taproom’s patio where there’s a wooden bar, bar stools, and a bench.

The Menu

Appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts are all available at Mill Creek Taproom. A handful of offerings include chicarones, tossed slaw, The Smashville Burger, and a root beer float. Pair your meal with one of the brewery’s beers like their Woodshed IPA or Lil Darlin (a citrus-infused wheat brew). The best part: If you need another beer, just insert the “More Beer” sign in the tabletop holder. Cheers to less fuss and more beer! See the opening menus below.
