Falcon Coffee, the daytime side of Flamingo Cocktail Club, officially opened April 10, 2018. Falcon and Flamingo are housed together in an old church in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. Falcon takes care of customers during the daylight hours, while Flamingo gets the party going after the sun sets. Falcon Coffee is spearheaded by Andy Knepshield alongside Alexis Soler, Angela Laino, and Freddy Schwenk. Nashville Guru got a look inside.

The Interior

Falcon’s interior has eight seats at the bar and table seating for about a dozen people. The vaulted ceilings provide openness to the otherwise cozy space. Plants are central to the concept, from the decorative greenery to the outdoor garden to the plant-based menu.

The Exterior

Falcon’s dark color contrasts nicely with Flamingo’s vibrant exterior, distinguishing the separate concepts. Patrons can grab a cup of coffee or a bite at the to-go window and take a seat on the small patio. The urban garden is a reminder of this team’s dedication to green business practices.

The Menu

Osa Coffee, a Nashville-based coffee roaster, is served here. Options range from standard hot coffee to a macchiato to an iced latte. In addition to the coffee menu, Falcon’s plant-based menu includes empanadas, toast, sandwiches, and sides. See the menu.
