Burger Up, one of Nashville’s most popular burger joints in 12 South, is opening a second location in East Nashville on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 4pm. The new location is part of the Hill Center Five Points development at 970 Woodland Street, which previously housed the Turnip Truck for 14 years. Nashville Guru got a look inside the new restaurant in East Nashville.

The Interior

If you’ve been to Burger Up in 12 South, the atmosphere will feel recognizable. The interior maintains a rustic and simplistic look with large community tables, two-top tables, and a bar area. The space is open with tall ceilings and plenty of natural light.

Burger Up’s building is dark green with large windows and an outdoor patio. The patio, with space for about 40 guests, is mostly covered with fans overhead to keep the air moving.

It’s clear Burger Up focuses on burgers, but they also have a nice selection of salads, appetizers, and sides. You really can’t go wrong with the fried pickle chips, a burger, and truffle fries. For more options, check out the full menu.
