Hillsboro Village - Nashville - June 2015-31

The Tennessean provided additional information about the future of Sam’s Sports Bar in Hillsboro Village this morning, August 18, 2015.  Sam’s closed in June due to a fire, and the space has been quiet ever since. Owner Sam Sanchez told The Tennessean their future in Hillsboro Village is questionable. Sam’s lease expires at the end of the year and the building’s owners may sell the property, which are major factors in their return. Despite new competition from Double Dogs, Sanchez says Sam’s business was healthy prior to the fire, but they are preparing for the worst outcome for their original location.

As of now, Sam’s Sports Bar’s future is still unresolved. Bosco’s and Sunset Grill, two long-standing businesses, also closed in the neighborhood, so we hope the 15-year-old Nashville staple can resume business as usual in Hillsboro Village.
