The Sylvan Park neighborhood now has their own joint for growlers, pints, and flights. The love for craft beer has grown tremendously over the last several years, bringing us many great new places to enjoy our brews. One of these new places is The Beer Pale, which officially opened with full hours on Monday, October 6, 2014.

The Beer Pale is just down the street from M.L. Rose West at 4109 Charlotte Avenue. They have over 20 beers on draft and a variety of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches. Beers on tap include local favorites like the Yazoo 10-Year IPA and seasonal brews like the Blackstone Pumpkin Ale. It’s a perfect place for a pint and a bite in the Sylvan Park area.

The name “The Beer Pale” is a combination of ideas revolving around growler origins and one of their favorite styles of beer. According to their website, it refers to the original growler, a metal pail, which made a rumbling (or growling) noise as you carried your beer home. They decided to spell it “pale” to pay homage to one of their favorite beers, the pale ale.
