There are so many amazing things Nashville has to offer, and right outside the city lies a gem called The Inn at Fontanel. Many people were familiar with the Southern Living Idea House at the Fontanel. Well, that’s now The Inn at Fontanel, which was turned into an incredible boutique bed and breakfast. We had a great opportunity to get a look inside.
The Inn at Fontanel
The Inn at Fontanel only has six suites, making it a very private, one-of-a-kind experience. It’s ideal for those seeking something different than the typical hotel or vacation rental, and is super-suitable for a romantic getaway, whether you’re a Nashvillian or a tourist.
The hotel is separated in five sections, all connected by a large deck and beautiful courtyard. The main house has a kitchen, living room, and dining room, which are open 24 hours for hotel guests. Pick up the guitar, hangout on the patio, and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.

Grab your key from the front desk representative, and make your way to your hotel suite. Expect a comfortable bed, modern amenities, and plush furniture.
The Grounds
There are bikes on-site, which are perfect for exploring the many acres at The Fontanel. Take a short ride over to Cafe Fontanella for some Italian cuisine, or ride along the trails for some fresh country air. If you’re looking for further entertainment, consider the nearby ziplines, tour the Fontanel Mansion, or plan your stay during a concert at the Woods Amphitheater.
THE EXPERIENCE
We had a great experience at The Inn at Fontanel. The service was spectacular, from the courteous front desk representative to the friendly breakfast chef. During our complimentary breakfast, we talked with a couple who had traveled to 38 states (so far). They said, “Of all the places we’ve stayed, the Inn at Fontanel will be one of those places we always remember and talk about.”
