Summer is jam-packed with fun this year in Nashville, including these awesome event series. Some of these series last weeks, while others span all the way to the fall season. If you’re looking for something to do each week, look no further than this handy guide!

  • Movies in the Park by Nashville Scene (June 1 – June 22) – Weekly – FREE
    Watch favorite throw-back movies at Elmington Park the first four Thursdays in June. 
  • Live on the Green by Lightning 100 (August 10 – September 2) – Weekly – FREE
    See top bands and artists at Public Square Park in Downtown Nashville.
    *NOTE: There are also performances on Friday, September 1 and Saturday, September 2 (Labor Day weekend) 


  • Musicians Corner Acoustic Nights (May – June) – Weekly — FREE
    Enjoy an acoustic show from 5:00pm til 9:00pm at Centennial Park.
  • Full Moon Pickin’ Parties (May – October) – Monthly – $5 to $25
    Watch or perform! Enjoy jam circles and main acts at Percy Warner Park Equestrian Center.
  • Frist Fridays (June – August) – Monthly – FREE for members / $12 for non-members
    Listen to live music and tour exhibitions each month at the Frist Center. 
  • Night Market at the Nashville Farmers’ Market (May – October) – Monthly – FREE
    Listen to live music and shop with artisans and farmers while the shops stay open late.
  • TailGate Brewery Summer Movie Series (May – September) — Weekly — FREE
    Watch movies, drink brews, and eat pizza on the lawn at TailGate Brewery.


  • Musicians Corner (May – June) – Weekly – FREE
    Hear live music from popular and up-and-coming artists at Centennial Park each week.
  • Big Band Dance (June – August) – Weekly – FREE
