Bringle’s Smoking Oasis, the latest concept from pitmaster Carey Bringle, officially opens in The Nations on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Bringle, who also owns Peg Leg Porker in the Gulch, is known for his smoked meats, which will be the foundation of Bringle’s Smoking Oasis. Guests can also expect one of the largest outdoor patios in Nashville, plenty of TVs, bourbon cocktails, and a nice selection of draft beer. Nashville Guru stopped by to get a look inside.

The Interior

The interior has about 10 four-top tables, several TVs, and a fast-casual-style ordering system. When the weather’s right, the garage door opens to the expansive outdoor area.

The Exterior

The patio area is the highlight at Bringle’s Smoking Oasis. The central bar (formerly part of a service station) is the focal point, which has stationary barstools, beers on draft, and numerous TVs. There are a variety of seating options ranging from picnic tables to Adirondack chairs to two-top benches. Play a game of corn hole, then relax under the string lights when the sun goes down. The space is fully enclosed, making this a very kid- and pet-friendly space.

The Menu

The menu focuses on Texas-style cuisine with options like brisket, beef ribs, spicy baked beans, and roasted street corn. There will also be an outdoor menu that’s more approachable, particularly for children, that includes hot dogs and burgers. On the beverage side, guests can expect local draft brews, frozen cocktails, and bourbon.

The Details

While this is definitely a destination for meat lovers, the patio makes this one of the best places to hangout with a group of friends or enjoy a cold beer in the sun (or under the stars).
