A Look Inside: Two Boots Nashville

Two Boots is a New York style pizza joint that has been around since 1987, and just opened its 13th location in Nashville. We met the founder of the Nashville location, Sam Boyer, who lives in town with his wife. Sam was so enthusiastic about bringing Two Boots to Music City, and you could tell he loves Nashville.

With other locations in cities like New York City, Los Angeles and Baltimore, you know they serve some amazing pizza. The name Two Boots comes from combining New Orleans style, Cajun cooking with Italian food; if you take the shape of the state of Louisiana and the country of Italy, you have two boots.

Experience

When you walk into Two Boots in Midtown in Nashville, you’re immediately happier because of all the bright decor and smiling faces behind the counter. They serve pizza by the slice or as a whole pie. Slices are between $2.50 and $3.75, and they are pretty big – it’s New York style after all. They will begin delivering soon. They also have appetizers, Po’ Boy sandwiches, calzones and a couple salads on the menu. You can get fountain or bottled sodas (Pepsi products). If you prefer beer to accompany your pizza, they also have a couple drafts and several bottle options, including our local Yazoo.

You can sit inside, outside or take it to-go. Inside there are booths, pub tables and a counter with bar stools. The patio is filled with bright tables and chairs. Feel-good reggae music was playing while we were there.
